The Section 5 Ink Runner Certification Exam is designed to verify that an apprentice fully understands the operational responsibilities, professionalism standards, and customer-service expectations required to support the front of the shop. The exam focuses on real shop situations such as greeting clients, managing the waiting area, handling phone calls, assisting with intake, maintaining cleanliness, and knowing when to escalate issues to leadership.

This is a closed-book exam intended to confirm that the apprentice can apply Salvation standards in real-world situations. Passing the exam demonstrates that the apprentice understands how the shop should operate and is prepared to perform the Ink Runner role consistently and professionally as part of the Salvation Apprentice Career Ladder.

Passing Standard

To successfully complete this section of training, a minimum score of 80% is required.
